Yes, we are opening memberships!

We thought our homesteaders needed a place to connect — A place that offers consistency and security. We are starting with a totally FREE Membership. The others will follow.

Our Free Membership is the beginning of something bigger—a growing network of homesteaders across Iowa who want to learn, share, and support one another. Members will be able to connect with others, discover resources, receive early updates on events and opportunities, and enjoy special perks as our community expands. As Homesteaders of Iowa grows, our members will be the first to benefit from new features, partnerships, and opportunities.

As we add to our membership, our initial Free Members will get first look and first choice. You will also receive the best discounts we offer toward our Paid Memberships as they open up.

Our purpose for opening this in its limited capacity is to offer ticket discounts to our 2026 conference. The conference will be held on February 27–28 at Bridge View Center, Ottumwa, Iowa.
